How to scan an exam paper into one PDF
About 2 minutes on your phone. The free CamScanner app turns photos of every page
into one neat, small PDF that your child’s teacher can read clearly.
- Install CamScanner. It’s free on the
App Store (iPhone) and
Google Play (Android).
You don’t need to pay or subscribe for this.
- Lay the paper flat in good light. A table near a window works well. Remove clips and fold the pages flat.
- Tap the camera button and scan every page in order, starting with the cover.
Use the mode that takes several pages in a row, so they all end up in one document.
The app finds the edges of each page for you.
- Check the pages. Make sure every page is there, the right way up, and the marks and the total score are readable.
Re-take any page that is blurry.
- Save it as a PDF. Tap Share or Export and choose PDF
(not JPG or picture). Save it to your phone’s Files.
- Upload it. Go back to the
LevelUp Reward Claim page, tap Attach the PDF, and pick the file you just saved.
Good to know
- One PDF per subject is easiest: the whole paper, cover to last page.
- Photos can’t be accepted — only PDFs. A PDF keeps every page together and in order.
- No CamScanner? iPhone: the Notes app can scan too (new note → camera icon → Scan Documents, then share as PDF).
Android: the Google Drive app has a Scan button that saves a PDF.
